People holding German flags arrive at a right-wing protest gathering near a statue of Karl Marx the day after a man was stabbed and died of his injuries on August 27th, 2018, in Chemnitz, Germany. A German man died after being stabbed in the early hours of August 26th following an altercation, leading a xenophobic mob of approximately 800 people to take to the streets. Left- and right-wing groups of over a thousand people each confronted each other as riot police stood in between.
