Keffrelyn D. Brown is an associate professor of cultural studies in education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Texas–Austin. She is also the Elizabeth Glenadine Gibb Teaching Fellow in Education and holds a faculty appointment in the Department of African and African Diaspora Studies and the Center for Women and Gender Studies.
