Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School spend time together at a memorial set up outside the school on February 14th, 2019, in Parkland, Florida. A year ago on February 14th, 14 students and three staff members were killed during a mass shooting. For the one-year anniversary of the shooting, Pacific Standard took a look at federal, local, and non-governmental gun-violence proposals.
