Students of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), gathered under the University Student Movement (MEU), clash with riot police during a demonstration to demand, among other things, the resignation of rector Julieta Castellanos, in Tegucigalpa, on July 25th, 2017. The MEU, which is occupying several buildings of the UNAH, preventing some 50,000 students from attending classes, also demands the cessation of the "criminalization" of protests, the suspension of student hearings, and support to appoint delegates to the University Council, UNAH's main decision-making body.
