First, the answer to last week’s contest: Stanford University. We selected reader Tim Miles as our winner for the precision of his answer. He wrote:

I work in the building on the right (Beckman Center). There’s a fair chance my bicycle is pictured.

Carlos Gonzalez submitted the photograph and indeed described the scene as the “Walkway between the Li Ka Shing and Beckman buildings (taken from the Edwards Building).”
