First, the answer to our August 11 contest: Pomona College. We selected reader Sean McCoy for the careful detail in his answer. He wrote:

I go there! This is a beautiful view looking across Marston Quad to the Carnegie Building, sneakily taken from what must be Bridges Auditorium.

Scott Panek submitted the photograph, describing Marston Quad and Carnegie Hall as “the heart of campus.”
